Operations Department

Summer Secretary
At least 18 years old, completed high school. Basic secretarial skills, enjoy dealing with kids, parents, cashier, registration, mailing, and sales. Also must poses a driver’s licenses and good driving record.

Operations /Counselors
At least 18 years old, completed high school. Assist the Property Manager in the daily camp operation of Tall Timber. Must enjoy physical work and outdoor activities. Maintenance projects lawn care, restroom sanitation, and house cleaning. Also to serve as a cabin counselor on alternate weeks.

Food Service Department

Assistant Cook/Counselors
At least 18 years old, completed high school. To assist with all tasks related to the planning, preparation, clean-up. etc. for all meals and snacks served at Tall Timber. Must enjoy food service work and outdoor activities. Also to serve as a cabin counselor on alternate weeks when not in kitchen

Caravan Department

Climbing Rover
At least 18 years old, completed high school. Lead the off site program, with special skills in, mountaineering, and rock climbing. Some training will be provided. The positions involve rock climbing, and equipment maintenance. A driver’s license, good driving record, and First Aid is needed and a Life Saving Certificate is desirable.

Program Department

Aquatics Program /Counselors
At least 18 years old, completed high school. Assist the Program Director in the planning, preparation, and leadership of program activities including games, mixers, sports, nature, hikes, skits, etc. With a special emphasis on water activities including swimming, canoeing. A Life Saving Certificate is required. Also must have a driver’s licenses and good driving record. They will also serve as a cabin counselor on alternate weeks.

Adventure Program /Counselors
At least 18 years old, completed high school. Assist the Program Director in the planning, preparation and leadership of program activities including games, mixers, sports, nature, hikes, skits, etc. The position will include a special emphasis on mountain biking, ropes course, and rock climbing. Also serve as a cabin counselor on alternate weeks.

Crafts Program /Counselors
At least 18 years old, completed high school. Assist the Program Director and Deans in the planning, preparation, and leadership of program activities including games, mixers, sports, nature, hikes, skits, etc. The position will include a special emphasis on crafts. They will also serve as a cabin counselor on alternate weeks.

Music Program
At least 18 years old, completed high school. Assist the Program Director in the planning, preparation and leadership of program activities including song leading, games, mixers, sports, nature, hikes, skits, etc. With a special emphasis on leading singing at campfires and evening programs. They will also serve as a cabin counselor on alternate weeks.

Health Specialist
To care for the medical, health, and emotional needs for campers, counselors, and summer staff. Health Specialist is also responsible camper discipline, for first aid facility and supplies. Must have a required level of medical certification.

Media Specialist
At least 18 years old, completed high school. Able to film, edit, create weekly & program video and digital photography each week. Also must have a driver’s licenses and good driving record. Help in other program areas.
