I feel I’m finally understanding what it means to be a Christian, and serve God. I'm simply not the same person who arrived here two weeks ago.

What is AIM Crew?

A.I.M. stands for “Assistants In Mission”, and that just what it is! It is an opportunity for you to assist in the mission of reaching lives for Christ at Tall timber this summer in a more direct way, and spend 3 weeks as volunteer staff.

What will I do?

You will live, work and counsel with the Tall Timber staff, functioning in every way as a part of the Summer Staff team. Each AIM Crew member will take turns counseling in a cabin with campers, and working on alternate weeks with the Operations or kitchen Crews.

What does it cost?

Absolutely nothing! There is no charge to be on AIM Crew.

What will I receive?

AIM Crew is a volunteer position. You will receive room and board, and a Tall Timber Staff t-shirt. There is a weekly staff Bible Study, and daily devotions by department. But you will also get some excellent experience to put on those college applications, learn new skills, make some great Christian friends, and be strengthened in your faith. It will also be a great head start if you want to be on our paid Summer Staff in the future!

Who can be on AIM Crew?

AIM Crew is for anyone entering grades 11-college. Our ideal AIM Crew Applicant would be someone who has been through YILT, and has already counseled for us. Older applicants will be given priority.

What are the dates?

There are two AIM Crew sessions. The first runs from July 3-23, and covers Adventure Camp, Junior 1 and 2. The second runs from July 24-August 13, and covers Primary Camp, Junior High and Senior High. (You will not need to work during the “Creation” event at the Gorge).
