IN A CHRISTIAN COMMUNITYWe work, live, study and recreate in a remote snowbound setting, together becoming a Christian community and family. Tall Timber Ranch is a Presbyterian camp surrounded by towering peaks, bordering the Glacier Peak Wilderness Area, and at the end of the plowed road. There, the students and staff will live in rustic but comfortable cabins and lodge. What we do to make those cabins a home is all part of the education. All chores, including cooking, are shared by the students. |

ABOUT CROSS-COUNTRY SKIINGTall Timber receives up to 7 feet of snow in January. Our primary mode of transportation will be on cross-country skis. We will hold weekly structured ski lessons starting with the basic diagonal stride, and progressing to winter camping and downhill telemarking. Students are required to get out and ski daily. There will be lots of skiing and ski expeditions into the wilderness. |
