Holiday Snow Camp 2007

December 27-30, 2007

Tall Timber Ranch is ideally situated for an exceptional winter experience. It lies in the heart of the North Cascades, bordering the Glacier Peak Wilderness Area. A scenic log lodge will welcome you. If you love the charm and beauty of Tall Timber in the summer, wait until you see it transformed by the magic of winter.

Program Plans

Our days will be spent playing in the snow. Outdoor activities will include cross-country skiing, snow-shoeing, tubing on the new run, snow games, igloo building and more. For the skiers there will be expert instruction geared to your needs and abilities, and ski tours on many levels of difficulty - from gentle wide meadows to steep and challenging slopes. No experience is needed. There will also be singing and worship, crafts, coffeehouse, dance, and drama. You won’t be bored!

The long winter evenings will be super times of fellowship! Join us as we sing around the fire, sip hot cocoa, play crazy games, enjoy sincere discussions, and dynamite Christian teaching. There will also be an old- fashioned Christmas party, so be sure and bring an inexpensive (under $5.00) gag gift!

There will be great food! Holidays are known as the time for extra special meals, and Snow Camp will be no exception! A "what to bring list" will be sent to you.

Teaching and Worship

Our theme this year is Drift. The snow camp speaker will be anounced very soon. Music leadership will be Jonathan Deal. Jonathan is currently a student at Whitworth University and led worship music at camp last summer.

Leadership

Stan Fishburn, Camp Director will also help. He and his wife Becky have been leading snow camps at Tall Timber for the last 24 years. Josh McCorcke, will head up our program team. Joining him will be an equally skilled and mature program staff, including a number of returning summer staff. All together they will provide the conifidence and guidance you want for a safe, fun, and exciting, winter experience.

Ski Rental

Tall Timber has quality ski rental gear: Trak skis, NNN bindings, and Alpina boots. If you would like to rent from us, just include the requested information on the registration form. The rental fee will be only $15 for the camp. Requests will be on a first come, first serve basis.
