Gifts with a Future

Giving to Tall Timber is an investment in eternity.

By the end of 2003 we served over 5200 campers. We have hosted guest groups, presbytery camps and off-site Caravans for a very diverse and multicultural group of campers. Children through adults have participated in a variety of camping programs. We have served over 31,000 meals. We have offered youth camps for children ranging from primary age through high school, family camps, adult and couples retreats, and a pastor retreat. We have also served Presbyterian churches from North Puget Sound, Central Washington, and Seattle Presbyteries. Guest groups have included churches throughout the northwest, public and private schools, students from Whitworth College, and many others.

Tall Timber Ranch remains committed to making a difference for Jesus Christ. We want to continue providing a place where adults, teenagers and children can begin and experience a life-long commitment to Christ. Next year we face significant challenges financially and otherwise. With the increasing costs we strive to keep camp affordable. Campers will need scholarships. Buildings and grounds must be maintained. There are also projects and improvements needed on the facility. Please keep Tall Timber Ranch in your prayers and budget.

Thanks to you and others, Tall Timber will be able to continue to improve and develop. This summer marks the 49th year of summer ministry at Tall Timber. What a privilege it is for us to joyfully participate in a ministry that provides for people of all ages to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, to enjoy the beauty of God’s creation, and to make life-changing decisions in their journey of faith. Such an outstanding ministry must continue undeterred.

Ministry Gifts with a Future

Camper Scholarship Fund:

In many family budgets money gets a little tight. Sometimes there is no extra money at all. Sometimes there are not church scholarships available. Camper Scholarships are awarded to children, teens, families, singles and seniors who need financial assistance to attend one of our camps.

Tall Timber Endowment Fund:

The purpose of this fund is to provide for the long term future of the ministry of Tall Timber Ranch. As good stewards preparing for our future, we must provide facilities that both enhance and ensure this ministry for years to come. By supporting Tall Timber Ranch, you can enable a new generation of children, teens, families, and singles experience the ongoing ministry.

Summer Staff College Scholarship Fund:

College students make up a significant part of the summer staff and each year it becomes increasingly difficult for these students to save enough from Tall Timber summer wages for college. This fund is used for college summer staff that are enrolled full-time in college.

Golden Opportunities Campaign:

In Phase One, we want to address some immediate needs: improve staff housing, build some storage, rebuild the Othello A-frame cabin to match the Ephrata remodel, and relocate RV/Camping sites to a better location.
Phase One projects will begin immediately; in fact several are already funded and under construction! We hope to raise $475,000
