Today was the last full day of Junior High Adventure. It went by so fast! The kids enjoyed the final afternoon program of a medieval festival and feast! Under the sun the campers stormed the castle, climbed the beanstalk, and stole the royal bacon. After the games dinner was a medieval feast with honey roasted ham and cinnamon baked apples and a pumpkin dessert. In accordance to medieval atmosphere no silverware was used in the course of the feast. After the afternoon festivities settled down, the kids went on an interactive walk, experiencing the parable of the prodigal son. It was a great time of learning and of worship, and a great way to wrap up the week.
