Day 4: S.A.L.T campers have been hard at play... I mean work! Tons of action has been going on around camp, as projects have started on and offsite. The onsite group has been busy clearing the Napeequa Trail and soon will start helping paint some of the older cabins. Offsite projects have been split in to 2 groups, A and B. The B group spent their day helping to paint a house (blue!) in Leavenworth, while also aiding the senior living home (just across the street) in some window washing.

The A group spent their afternoon/evening playing games and leading crafts to young children at a local migrant work camp in Monitor. Both groups were very successful in lending a hand, and creating a great fun work environment.  The children at the work camp had so much fun! And were extremely excited to see our campers. Lots of water was shed on this very, very hot day, as we set up a slip and slide, inflatable pool, and sprinklers. The painting group was fantastic as they finished about half of the (pretty large) house their first day! Tomorrow they just have to do some trim work.

As well as our afternoon projects, campers have still been participating in morning worship, solo time, and small group bible studies. Tonight is skit night, and after.. sundaes in the lodge! Closing with campfire as usual.
