S.A.L.T camp is coming to an end on this chilly morning. We have had an amazing week! Thursday afternoon after morning worship, solo, and bible study finished, the whole camp loaded up and was sent to work in local areas (Plain and Leavenworth). We had groups working with local christian organizations (yd ministries, Grunewald Guild), and farmers. Our campers are now excellent in lending a hand when it comes to trail work, blazing, weeding, painting, and clearing! When we finished with our projects, everyone met at Lake Wenatchee State Park for beach day!  It was a great way to celebrate all of our hard work. It was a bit windy though, so we did no stay too long. Instead, the rock wall was opened up back at camp and campers were able to sneak in some climbing time. A banquet dinner was served. So delicious, stuffed sweet potatoes and baked apples for desert! Closing our week and evening, we held an experiential worship service. Followed by a commitment service at campfire.

This week God has shown us his beauty and grace in many places. I know our campers are taking away a strong spirit with them as they leave Tall Timber. All of them have shown great leadership in every task they were given!
