Tuesday here at Family camp started off with the usual routine of a meaningful adult study session and a separate kids session in the morning. The afternoon brought on the excitement of afternoon options as families spread out to enjoy activities such as giant swing, BMX biking, crafts, and Blacksmith lessons, among other things. The excitement didn't end there however because after dinner was a special treat.
A harpist and singer performed a beautiful concert while children laughed and danced, and everyone joined together in dancing as they participated in a rousing Celtic Kaylee dance. Needless to say, I'm sure everyone got a good nights sleep.
Wednesday morning was much of the same only starting a little earlier and cutting a little to be ready for Long Options day. The day included many hikes, a canoe trip on the beautiful lake Wenatchee and a rock climbing trip to icicle canyon. Families came back to camp ready for a delicious dinner and after a short worship session kids broke off to the beach for some throwing of rocks, cooking of s'mores, and general merriment.
Let them praise his name with dancing and make music to him with timbrel and harp. Psalm 149:3
