The last full day of camp came and went like a warm summer breeze. The morning opened to an after breakfast worship and speaker session which flowed into rotating through Bible study and the Giant Swing until lunch. Post lunch campers frantically signed up for their last chance at the zip line and rock wall and enjoyed the adventures of the afternoon. But what everyone had really all been waiting for the entire week as suspension was built, hints were dropped, and clans were formed and grew as one..... THE HIGHLAND GAMES. There was throwing of cabers, shooting of arrows, hurling of Haggai and heading of sheep as everyone competed with their clan for the seat at the high table for the delicious and traditional Scottish Robert burns dinner later that evening. The battle came to a close finish but the Stewart clan reigned champion and everyone toasted to a root beer chug and entered the lodge for the feast to come.
The week and the evening closes with a meaningful prayer filled worship night and campers will close their sleepy eyes remembering the time that they had that week, at Tall Timber Ranch, and how they just can't wait for next year.
