Breakfast started the day off this lovely Monday as junior campers woke excited for their first full day at camp. After breakfast was some time at the A-frame where all enjoyed some worship singing, and a bible study. After some cabin time campers were split into clans and went to separate activities, music/drama, nature/survival, low ropes team bonding, and crafts. This brief time of fun was ended by lunch and post lunch brought a welcome FOB (flat on back) rest hour before more to come. Afternoon activities included ziplining, rock wall, archery, giant swing, BMX and ceramics which were greatly enjoyed by all. The time everyone was most excited for however was, of course, the much awaited MUD PIT in which all enjoy the grandness of being utterly covered from head to toe in glorious mud. After which there was a great line for showers before dinner. The evening activity was the movie Brave accompanied by popcorn and the evening ended with a campfire where more songs were sung and some of the councilors shared their testimonies to the children.
