Everyone was awake bright and early as campers participated in a scavenger hunt to earn their breakfast. After, there was worship, bible study and morning low ropes and crafts rotations. Following lunch there was time for one last session of afternoon options before the big camp wide scavenger hunt and luau. Before too long it was time to head over to the A-Frame for skit night followed by the last campfire of Primary Camp 2016.
Campers woke bright and early to get going on another great day of fun here at Tall Timber. After music, bible study and some morning activities campers spent the afternoon enjoying a few different afternoon options including archery, rock wall, crafts and playground time. At dinner everyone got a taste of the world famous Tall Timber cheesy buns before heading to the river for s'mores.
Campers woke up to a delicious pancake breakfast which was followed by some games and morning worship. After a few songs everyone broke up to do Bible study with their cabins before getting a chance to grow together on the low ropes, in crafts, or in the drum circle. In the afternoon kids had traveled with their cabins throughout the afternoon options offered before sitting down for a tasty dinner complete with red, white and blue cake for desert. Then it was time for an evening of celebration with an exciting human fireworks show choreographed by each cabin, a 4th of July parade featuring the staff and a counselor hunt throughout the grounds!
This afternoon an excited bunch of Primary Campers arrived here at Tall Timber, eager to kickoff an exciting week of making friends, growing together and finding God. Through some fun games put on by our program staff campers got to know each other a little more before taking a tour of camp and then eventually sitting down for dinner. After dinner, everyone gathered in the A-Frame for some evening worship, staff introductions, and skits. Then it was off to campfire before campers turned in for bed.
