senior high camp
The last full day of camp was jampacked with programming from sun up to sun down. After a fairly typical morning, wrapping up bible studies and listening to final seminars campers sat down for a hearty lunch to prep for an incredible afternoon. Things kicked off with the mud pit, followed by some swimming time at the river. After that it was time to get ready for the banquet where counselors waited on campers and live music was offered by our very own Nathan Franklin and Carl Stanfield. From there it was time for the epic end of camp dance party before heading over to the A Frame for skit night. The day was capped off with one last campfire session and sharing testimonies before turning in for bed.
This morning campers got a chance to sleep in before enjoying and incredible Tall Timber brunch with more options than there was room for on one plate...or three plates. As the day continued campers sang worship songs and heard a message from the camp speaker at the A Frame before cabin bible studies. This afternoon the whole camp loaded up in vans to Lake Wenatchee for Beach Day. This evening campers got to connect with God through experiential worship and a special message around the campfire from this week's speaker.
This morning, as the sun rose over White River valley, campers were eager to get going on the first full day of camp. After breakfast everyone headed to the A-Frame for morning worship before Bible study and morning seminars. As the day went on campers had the opportunity to try out some of the new high ropes elements, climb the rock wall, shoot a few arrows at archery or bind a book at crafts. In the evening we played an all camp game before campfire and hearing a message from our speaker.
This afternoon an excited bunch of senior highers rolled up to camp, looking forward to a great week of making new friends and growing closer to God at Tall Timber. With the sun shining bright everyone took to the meadow for some mixers before the camp tour. After dinner it was time for staff introductions, worship, and a first message from this week's speaker around the campfire.
