Keith and his wife Emily Bowen both grew up going to camps; Keith spent his summers at Tall Timber and Emily at a camp in the Sierras of California. They both felt the call to camp ministry and met while working on staff of Tall Timber the summer of 2019, and were married in October of 2020! After living in Spokane where Keith honed his cooking skills with several restaurant jobs and Emily worked in a management position at REI, they both came back to Tall Timber with new experience and the same passion for camp ministry. Up until early April 2024, Emily served as the Camp’s Program Director, but has decided to step away to further her education. Yet Keith is continuing to serve as our Head Chef. With the addition of their adopted dog, Daisy, they are thrilled to be making the valley where they fell in love their home.

It is with regret that we announce the resignation of Executive Director Adam Tobey, effective as of mid-April. We appreciate the creativity and hard work he poured into Tall Timber during his time here. Adam, his wife Catherine, and their two children hope to spend some time in Scotland as she pursues her doctoral degree there. Please keep them in your prayers as they seek a new direction for their family. The camp is actively seeking interim leadership, and plans to have that leadership secured as soon as possible. Please keep the camp board of directors in your prayers as they complete this search process.
