What We Believe

Mission

Tall Timber exists to provide people of all ages unique opportunities where they may deepen relationships, discover God’s creation, and imagine together a better world. We do this through high-quality outdoor programming, retreats, educational opportunities, hospitality, and community.

Vision

Tall Timber seeks to cultivate a place in the wilderness where all may grow in their relationships with God, themselves, their neighbors, and all creation.

Inclusion

The mountains, trees, and rivers at Tall Timber are captivating, but it’s the uniqueness of each person who visits that makes it special. Whether you are a camper or guest, or a part of our team or board, we hope you bring all of who you are to Tall Timber, knowing you are welcomed and loved; this includes your race, ethnicity, religion, neurodiversity, citizenship, sexual orientation, and gender identity.

Land Acknowledgment

Tall Timber acknowledges that we exist on np̓əšqʷáw̓səxʷ (Wenatchi) tribal land. We honor and offer our respect to the np̓əšqʷáw̓səxʷ (Wenatchi) people for stewarding this land for centuries before us with intention, purpose, and divinity. Tall Timber acknowledges that it was a grievous act to remove indigenous people from their sovereign land and honor with gratitude the land itself, the people who once called this valley home and their descendants forever.
